Over 40 youngsters from the Balaj village in Ferizaj have been involved work and volunteer activities through the “Program of active youth in the village of Balaj-Rri’ON”. This project is an initiative of Granit Sadiku, which has been implemented for six months within the frame of Grants for Volunteerism in this locality.

Those games and activities that identified and mapped the needs of the community and were made towards finding a solution or minimizing the problems of the village. The program has managed to contribute to young people in terms of knowledge, values and skills such as: critical thinking, professional skills, communication, social skills, decision-making, leadership and raising awareness of active citizenship.

Grants for Volunteerism are offered within the Kosovo Resource Centre for civil Society, a project co-financed by the European Union and Sweden and implemented by the Kosovo Foundation for Civil Society (KCSF) and Community Building Mitrovica (CBM).
