International Youth Day – dozens of young people involved in a series of activities organized by Activism Roots

The International Youth Day gathered dozens of young people today in Gjakova in a series of activities organized by Activism Roots, through the “Build your career through volunteerism” project, which is supported through Grants for Volunteersim.

Activism Roots, during the 7 months of project implementation, has managed to include over 300 young people aged 15-24 from the municipality of Gjakova, in various trainings and discussions aimed at educating them on the importance of volunteering with a focus on many advantages of volunteering that can positively affect their future careers.
Today, these young people in addition to being involved in activities, had the opportunity to be certified by this organization for their participation and engagement in volunteer activities during this year.

Grants for Volunteerism are offered within the Resource Center for Civil Society in Kosovo, a project co-financed by the European Union (EU) and Sweden and implemented by Kosovo Foundation for Civil Society (KCSF) and Community Building Mitrovica (CBM).
