For general and specific measures to control, prevent and combat COVID-19 pandemic

NEW MEASURES AGAINST COVID-19

According to the latest decision of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, from 22.01.2022, every person who enters the Republic of Kosovo must possess one of the following evidence:

-Certificate of vaccination with three (3) doses (or with one dose of Janssen vaccine and booster dose) against COVID-19;

-Two-dose vaccination certificate (or one-dose Janssen vaccine) against COVID-19, together with RV-PCR negative test for COVID-19, not earlier than 48 hours before departure (for air passengers) or 48 hours before arrival at the border point (for those entering by land).

-Persons with medical evidence from the specialist doctor of the respective field that they have contraindications and are exempt from vaccination. Such persons must present a negative RT-PCR test for COVID-19, administered not earlier than 48 hours before departure (for passengers entering by air) or 48 hours before arrival at the border crossing point (for those entering the road terrestrial).

-Persons aged 12 to 16 years must have a negative RT-PCR test not older than 48 hours.

-Citizens of the Republic of Kosovo who do not have two doses of vaccine are obliged to perform home quarantine for a period of seven (7) days from the entry into the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.

On September 27, the new decisions of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo on measures against Covid-19 entered into force.

On September 12, the Government of Kosovo decided to continue the measures against Covid-19. The most important measures include the continuation in the workplace of only essential staff in public and private institutions.

The measures are in force from 13 September until 27 September 2021.

Are you working from home and need meetings longer than 40 minutes on the Zoom Platform?

The Center offers the use of the Free Zoom Platform for all CSOs in Kosovo!

To use Zoom for free you need to send an email to rc-kosovo@kcsfoundation.org or office@kcsfoundation.org with information like:

  • the time and date of your meeting;
  • the duration of your meeting;
  • the reason for your request;

where all this information should be sent to us at least 3 days before the meeting!

The epidemiological situation in Kosovo continues to be aggravated and the organisation of work virtually is essential for maintaining public health.
