The School for Activism was closed today for the second generation

The participants of the second generation of the School for Activism completed the lessons of the fifth module, which is also the last module within the School’s program. During three days, they received information and discussed community mobilization techniques.
The purpose of this module was to elaborate the methods of how to empower citizens to address their needs and those of the community where they live and operate, focusing on concrete explanations related to community mobilization, networking and coalition creation, development techniques dialogue as well as the importance of communication plans and public relations.
Part of the second generation of the School for Activism were representatives from over 20 civil society organizations who, through a dynamic program spanning five modules, gained additional knowledge and skills that will help them in their engagements daily to increase their presence in the community in which they operate and in policy-making processes, following the principles of participatory advocacy and transparency.
Organizations participating in this training will also benefit from free mentoring based on their needs and specifics.

The School for Activism is organized within the Resource Center for Civil Society in Kosovo, a project financed by the European Union, co-financed by Sweden and implemented by the Kosovo Foundation for Civil Society (KCSF) and Community Building Mitrovica (CBM).
