Around 20 participants were trained on internal governance and financial management of CSOs

Around 20 civil society representatives participated in the two-day training on internal governance of CSOs and financial management, where many issues were addressed that will help participants in effective internal governance and sustainable financial management for their organizations.

The training focused on elaborating on the principles of good governance, organizational structures, and the use of documents, systems, and procedures as a basis for effective governance. Best practices for management, budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, and compliance with legal and tax requirements were also addressed.

During the two days, participants had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge regarding the effective administration of resources in order to improve the sustainability and credibility of their organizations in the eyes of donors and partners.

This training was organized by the Kosovo Civil Society Resource Center, a project co-financed by the European Union and Sweden and implemented by the Kosovo Civil Society Foundation (KCSF) and Community Building Mitrovica (CBM).
