School of Activism Participants will gain expertise through mentoring
03/08/2025The participants of the third generation of the School for Activism concluded today the lessons of the fifth module “Community Mobilization Techniques”, which is also the last module within the School’s program. Over the course of three days, the participants received information and discussed community mobilization techniques.
The purpose of this module was to elaborate on methods on how to empower citizens to address their needs and the needs of the community where they live and operate, focusing on concrete explanations regarding community mobilization, networking and coalition building, dialogue development techniques, as well as the importance of communication plans and public relations.
Part of the third generation of the School for Activism were representatives from over 20 civil society organizations who, through a dynamic program spread over five modules, gained additional knowledge and skills that will help them in their daily commitments to increase their presence in the community in which they operate and in policy-making processes, following the principles of participatory advocacy and transparency.
The organizations participating in this training will also benefit from free mentoring based on their needs and specifics.
The School for Activism is organized within the framework of the Civil Society Resource Center in Kosovo, a project co-financed by the European Union and Sweden and implemented by the Kosovo Civil Society Foundation (KCSF) and Community Building Mitrovica (CBM).
