03/08/2025“Participatory Advocacy” is the topic of the fourth module within the School of Activism, which was attended by representatives of about 20 civil society organizations (CSOs). During this module, participants had the opportunity to obtain more information about the theoretical perspective of advocacy and participatory democracy, community involvement in the work of CSOs, the policy-making cycle, the role of citizens in policy-making and decision-making processes, as well as the main formal mechanisms for citizen participation in the policy-making process at the local and national levels.
They also had the opportunity to be informed about the DG NEAR guidelines for the European Union (EU) support to civil society in the region and beyond 2021 – 2027. These guidelines were presented by Afërdita Pustina, Coordinator for Kosovo of the Technical Assistance to Civil Society (TACSO 3).
The School for Activism is organized within the framework of the Civil Society Resource Center in Kosovo, a project co-financed by the European Union (EU) and Sweden, implemented by the Kosovo Civil Society Foundation (KCSF) and Community Building Mitrovica (CBM).
