International Youth Day – dozens of young people in a series of activities organized by Activism Roots
International Youth Day, today in Gjakova, gathered dozens of young people in a series of activities organized by Activism Roots, through the project “Build a career through volunteering”, which is supported through the Volunteering Grant.
Activism Roots, during the 7 months that it has been implementing this project, has managed to include over 300 young people aged 15-24 from the municipality of Gjakova, in various trainings and discussions that aimed to educate them on the importance of volunteering with a focus on the many advantages of volunteering that can positively impact their careers in the future.
Today, these young people had the opportunity, in addition to being involved in the activities, to also be certified by this organization for their participation and commitment to volunteer activities during this year.
Volunteering Grants are offered within the framework of the Kosovo Civil Society Resource Center, a project co-funded by the European Union (EU) and Sweden and implemented by the Kosovo Civil Society Foundation (KCSF) and Community Building Mitrovica (CBM).
