23/10/2025SCHOOL OF ACTIVISM 2026
The Kosovo Civil Society Foundation (KCSF) and Community Building Mitrovica (CBM) invite all civil society organizations to apply to the fifth edition of the School for Activism, an educational program created within the framework of the Civil Society Resource Center in Kosovo to strengthen and increase the impact of civil society organizations (CSOs) in the country.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The School for Activism (School) is a space for professional education and increased civic activism, which aims to develop skills and increase the competence of community-based CSOs. The goal of the School is to strengthen the presence of these organizations in the communities where they operate by increasing their engagement in policy-making processes through advocacy and transparency. The School is offered annually to 20-25 selected CSOs and includes 6 trainings (modules), each lasting two days. These modules are assessed as essential topics and knowledge for the development of organizations and increasing their impact through the work they do.
So far, the program has proven its impact by certifying over 80 organizations and training over 360 CSO representatives with a wide geographical, sectoral and gender distribution, over the past four editions.
CSOs that successfully complete the School of Activism will have the opportunity to benefit from mentoring from experts in various fields, with the aim of further professional development and support in the implementation of their organization’s long-term strategies and objectives. They will also be included in thematic and sectoral networks of civil society organizations, which will be organized and supported by the KCSF, enabling cooperation and exchange of experiences between different civil society actors in Kosovo.
All training and mentoring is provided free of charge to selected organizations. Additionally, travel expenses will be reimbursed for participants from outside Prishtina.
